Remove the existing cover if possible and measure the plastic itself on a flat surface. Measure length, width, and depth in inches. For flat panels, record the exact length and width. Take a few clear photos before disposing of a broken piece. Photograph the fixture from below, both ends of the lens, the mounting channel, and any molded markings or part numbers.
