Upgrade or replace your existing lighting diffuser with this Mill Finish Aluminum Eggcrate Light Cover, designed for compatible commercial, architectural, and ceiling lighting applications.
This aluminum eggcrate diffuser features 1/2″ x 1/2″ cells and a 1/2″ thickness, providing the classic eggcrate appearance while offering the durability and versatility of aluminum construction.
The standard stock size measures 23 5/8″ x 47 5/8″, making it suitable for many 2×4-style lighting applications. Always measure your existing fixture before ordering because, naturally, manufacturers have never agreed that a “2×4” fixture should actually measure 2 feet by 4 feet.
Aluminum Construction
The eggcrate is manufactured from aluminum with an approximate 0.58 mm gauge. The mill finish aluminum provides a clean, functional appearance for commercial and institutional applications.
The material can also be easily customized using a pair of tin snips, allowing installers to trim the eggcrate when a precise fit is required.
1/2″ x 1/2″ Cell Design
The 1/2″ x 1/2″ eggcrate cells provide the traditional open-grid design used for lighting applications.
This aluminum light diffuser can be used with compatible fluorescent, LED, and other lighting fixtures where an eggcrate-style diffuser is appropriate.
