Fluorolite light lens cover

Fluorescent light lens cover panels or some people call them ceiling light panels or diffusers – are extruded acrylic sheets and a cost effective way to diffuse fluorescent light with bulb hiding qualities. Thicknesses* from: .020″ to .250″. Flat sheets are the most common fluorescent light diffusers. They are easy to remove either by opening the hinged fluorescent light ballast into the ceiling with 2 levers on one side. Sheets can be custom cut to any size up to 54″ x 108″. 

Flat sheet replacement diffuser panels thicknesses are measured from the peaks of the prisms not the valley’s. Some competitors will use a sheet that has had the valley’s ground out to save plastic. Be aware that not all flat sheets of the same thickness are of the same quality.

How to remove the ceiling Cover for a Fluorescent Light? Many people call us and ask how to take out the ceiling light cover from the fixture to get the measurement. Well it all depends on what style of cover you have.
If it’s just a ceiling light diffuser, parabolic louver or perhaps egg crate than most likely it’s Hinged fluorescent light ballast into the ceiling, you just need to learn how to close the cover correctly. Nowadays, they are simply with levers that lay flat when locked in place and you just pull down to open the door. If there is no door, it probably is where you slide the flat sheet sideways and remove it the same way. In conclusion, if you need anything for ceiling light diffusers, we have them all.
